Black. Girl-ified.

Hello Friends,

I was in a vampy mood recently and decided to wear a dark polish from a bottle that rarely has a chance to be opened to come out and play. This is just plain black nail polish from Sportsgirl I bought a few years ago.

Black polish is pretty edgy on its own. As usual I wanted MORE so I decided to paint just one coat of OPI Divine Swine over the top and then fell in love with this layered look! I have to admit that I have a very big soft spot for all things sparkly so that played a big part in my falling in love with this look. The first thought that came to mind was 'I think I just girl-ified this!'

I don't often experiment with layering different polishes, let alone mixing polishes to get an ideal colour. However, I think this is the start of a great layering relationship! This is one of the things that excites me about polishes - choices of looks and colours are endless!

What is your favourite layering experiment?

Until next time!

  1. Gorgeous layering! My favourite layering is OPI That's Hot! Pink, OPI Rainbow Connection, and Essie Shine of the Times and Nfu Oh 54 layered over OPI Russian Navy.
